a hidden gem

These clients had differing requirements; one wanted a formal garden, one wanted a country garden, in what initially appeared to be a rather small space due to half of the garden being over grown and the way in which it was being used. By creating a division through the use of plants and archway different atmospheres were created, this has delighted and satisfied them both. The brick edged oval lawn visually lengthens the garden and the decked and paved seating areas, in sun and shade, are used at different times of the day and evening.

Several years on and the planting is now looking full and with the gentle sounds from the two water features an atmosphere of tranquillity has evolved.
