This spacious garden set in a prime location, was largely ignored with just the area around the house and indoor swimming pool being used by the owners. Existing borders were overgrown and full of perennial weeds, yet hidden within were some beautiful shrubs and a few mature trees. Gravel paths, arches, water, several seating areas, an orchard, space for marquees, fenced off working/storage area and a wide range of plants create plenty of interest and entices the owners to use all the garden, which is pictured here in its third year. The retention of mature trees and replanting of mature shrubs have helped to create the feeling of the garden having been there for a far longer period.
