small family garden

The owners of this garden have always been keen gardeners but wanted to develop it further to suit their lifestyle. Their brief included the addition of a pond with a decked area where they could sit in seclusion and enjoy watching fish, and other wildlife that the pond would attract; this has become a much-loved tranquil and relaxing space. Other seating areas offer space for entertaining and rest. The planting provides colour, texture, form and scent and has been well looked after, and is evolving as the garden matures.
